The short version

Four answers that cover most of it

If you only read one part of this page, read this one. Everything below is the same in more detail.

It is free, both ways

No subscription, no paid tier, no commission on the work. Browsing and posting cost nothing.

Nobody is vetted for you

Documents are not verified. You judge by reviews, photos of finished work and questions you ask.

Your address stays yours

Listings show an approximate area. Your phone number is given only when you decide to give it.

Leaving takes a minute

Profile, Settings, Delete account. Listings, messages and reviews go with it.

All questions

Money, safety, the app, and specialists

Grouped the way people ask them. Open a question to see the answer.

Money

How much does WhoZapp cost?

The app is free. There are no subscriptions, platform commissions, advertisements, or in-app purchases.

Does WhoZapp take a commission?

No. People agree on the work and payment directly.

How do I pay a specialist?

Payment is arranged directly between you and the specialist. WhoZapp does not process the transaction.

What if the work is done badly?

WhoZapp is not the contractor and does not guarantee work quality. Use reviews, ask questions, and report inappropriate behavior through the app.

Safety

How do I report someone?

Use the “…” menu on a listing, person, or conversation. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Can I block someone?

Yes. A blocked person cannot message or call you.

Are calls recorded?

No. Calls go directly between the participants and are not recorded.

Does WhoZapp verify specialists?

No. The platform does not verify identity documents and does not guarantee service quality.

The app

Is there an Android app?

Android is planned. The Google Play badge is shown as “Coming soon” until a working store link exists.

Where does WhoZapp work?

WhoZapp is built around nearby listings on the map. Current availability is shown directly in the app.

Can I look around before creating an account?

Yes. The app includes a “Look around first” option on the sign-in screen.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm the deletion.

For specialists

Can I publish a service for free?

Yes. Publishing a listing is free and WhoZapp does not take a commission.

Can people contact me inside the app?

Yes. WhoZapp supports messages, photos, voice messages, and voice/video calls.

Can I control who calls me?

Voice and video can be disabled separately, with exceptions for selected people.

Questions people ask before installing

Most of them come down to four things: money, trust, the phone in your hand, and what happens if a job goes wrong. Short answers below, longer ones in the sections above.

Is WhoZapp really free?

Yes, on both sides. Browsing is free. Posting a listing is free. There is no subscription and no paid tier. WhoZapp takes no commission from the work you agree.

Then how does it make sense?

The app carries no advertising and sells no data. It is built to be useful in one neighbourhood first. That is a slower path than ads, and a quieter one.

Who do I actually pay?

The specialist, directly, the way you both agreed. WhoZapp holds no money and processes no payments. Nobody should ask for a deposit through the app.

What if the work is bad?

WhoZapp is not the contractor and cannot refund you. Settle it with the person first. Leave an honest review afterwards. If the behaviour was unacceptable, report the account.

Are people checked?

Identity documents are not verified. Reviews, photos of finished work and the number of completed jobs are what you judge by. A long history is a different risk from a new account.

Will strangers see my address?

No. A listing shows an approximate area, never your exact address. You choose what your profile says about you.

Can I stop people calling me?

Yes. Voice and video calls switch off separately, and messages can stay on. Selected people can be allowed through.

Is there an Android version?

The iPhone app is first. Android is in progress. Meanwhile the web version works in any browser, including on Android.

Which languages does it speak?

The app interface has six languages. Specialists list the languages they speak, so you can filter for someone who speaks yours.

How do I delete my account?

Inside the app: Profile, Settings, Delete account. Listings, messages and reviews are removed with it. No letter to support is needed.

People nearby. No commission. No ads.

Open the map, compare profiles, and contact people directly in WhoZapp.
