Safety when you meet a neighbour
What the app protects, what it deliberately leaves to you, and what to do when something feels wrong.
Three controls that work immediately
They live where you need them — in the conversation and in the profile, not buried in settings.
Report
Report a listing, a person or a conversation from the “…” menu. Every report is reviewed within twenty-four hours.
Block
A blocked person cannot message or call you, and is not told about it. The list lives in your profile and can be undone.
Call controls
Voice and video calls switch off separately. Keep messages on, let selected people through, or close both.
Four habits that prevent most trouble
None of them takes long, and together they remove almost every unpleasant surprise.
Read the reviews first
Reviews sit next to the service they describe. A person with a long history is a different risk from a new account.
Ask before you commit
Describe the task in chat and send a photo of the problem. Most misunderstandings die right there.
Meet where you feel safe
For a first meeting, a public place or your doorstep is enough. Nobody needs to be let in to give a quote.
Agree the money in writing
Settle the price and what it includes before anyone travels. WhoZapp holds no payments and asks for no deposit.
What WhoZapp does not do
WhoZapp does not verify identity documents and does not guarantee the quality of anyone’s work. It is a place where people find each other; the agreement itself stays between the two of you.
Your data
Calls go directly between the two phones and are not recorded. No advertising, no tracking — that is the product promise, not a setting.
Your place on the map
A listing shows an approximate area, never your exact address. What your profile says is up to you.
Account deletion
Delete your account inside the app: Profile, Settings, Delete account. Listings, messages and reviews go with it.
What happens after you report
Reporting takes one tap and does not require writing to support first.
Within twenty-four hours
Every report is reviewed within a day of arriving. You do not need to chase it.
Serious cases end the account
Threats, fraud and content that should not be there end with the account closed, not with a warning.
Blocking works meanwhile
You do not have to wait for the outcome. Block first — the conversation stops at once.
Safety on WhoZapp, in plain words
WhoZapp brings neighbours together. It does not stand between them. That difference decides what the app can protect you from, and what stays your own judgement.
What the app protects
Your phone number stays yours until you give it. Chat, voice and video all run inside the app. Calls go straight between the two phones. They are not recorded and not stored.
What your map shows about you
A listing appears in an approximate area, not at your door. Your exact address is never published. You decide what your profile says about you.
Who may call you
Voice and video calls are switched separately. You can turn both off and keep messages on. Selected people can be allowed through anyway.
Blocking is immediate
A blocked person cannot write or call you. They are not told that they were blocked. The list of blocked people lives in your profile and can be undone.
Reporting, and what follows
Any listing, person or conversation can be reported. Reports are reviewed within twenty-four hours. Serious cases end with the account closed. Reporting does not require a conversation with support.
What WhoZapp does not check
We do not verify passports or licences. We do not inspect anyone’s work. We are not a party to your agreement. The price and the terms are settled between you.
How to judge a stranger sensibly
Read the reviews before writing. Ask direct questions in chat. Send a photo of the problem first. Agree the price before anyone travels. Meet where you feel comfortable.
Money stays outside the app
WhoZapp holds no payments and takes no commission. Nobody should ask for a deposit through the app. Pay the way you agreed, when the work is done.
Adults only
WhoZapp is for people aged eighteen and over. Accounts found to belong to minors are closed.
Leaving, and taking your data
You can delete your account inside the app. Profile, Settings, Delete account. Listings, messages and reviews go with it. No letter to support is needed.
People nearby. No commission. No ads.
Open the map, compare profiles, and contact people directly in WhoZapp.
